Navajo Style

The Navajo trend has been sliding in and out of focus for the last few years now.  From housewares and handbags to dresses, coats and shoes; this trend has shone it's cheery face all over the place, from Pendelton mash-ups (Opening Ceremony x Pendelton & Pendelton x Vans) to beautifully crafted cloaks by Lindsay Thornburg.

Though, it may feel a bit 'hipster/old-hat' at times, there's something particularly rejuvenating about this trend to me right now.  Though, it's probably just my burning desire for the on-set of Spring, mixed with the necessity of snuggly-wintery warmth.

Suno

Suno is a New York based design duo, formed by Max Osterweis in 2008, who after more than 10 years of textile collecting in Kenya was inspired to launch a company that would support the talents and skills of a country in turmoil. Suno's patterns and samples are produced in Kenya helping to support and affect positive social and economic change, while showcasing the talents of the Kenyan artists. Recently, Suno teamed up with South African designer Albertus Swanepoel, for the SS11 collection, with deliciously colorful shoes by Loeffler Randall.

The Great Outdoors Gal - Lady Outfitter

As a follow-up to my previous post, I'd like to add a few shopper delights to the mix. For the ladies, a world of woodland plaid continues to be a hot trend for fall... Steven Alan being one of the heavy hitters, here a few bits of eye candy:
